Progress...again

So I've been offered some work from a producer in LA along with filming and editing a full feature independent film. I'm going to be busy, VERY busy. I just hope I can juggle all these projects and have the job at Triscari.

Future Projects

Things are looking like I'm going to be busy for the rest of the year with different projects. One of which is a Horror film that I'll be shooting and editing for, hopefully I'll be able to get my good friend Kennon to fly back here and help out. We just wrapped up the main audition process and came up with some very promising talent.

In other news I have a new website in the works for my work and a new demo reel along side of it.

Richard Rayborn

For the past couple days I've been working non-stop editing a music video for Richard Rayborn. This by far is the best music video I've had the opportunity to work on and the easiest person with. He knows what he wants and what he doesn't, the vision, the concept and the final outcome is all thought out before he shows up for a shoot. This is how everyone should be if they want to make it big, he's got the attitude for it, he's got the drive and he's got something I'll never have...swag.

Stage one complete!!!

Today we finished up the first stage of the "infinite white background" setup. Next up we'll be expanding the white background to accommodate bigger groups. THEN comes the green screen, either painting another screen OR cloth not sure.

Music video shoot

I recently went on a shoot with Kennon filming a part of Richard Raybourne's music video. This scene took place in the basement of a farm house. Here's some stills I took.

So the trip went by quick, I had some great experiences and some fun times! I can't wait till I can get back up there again...

Had some fun with Jadyn today, she's completely hyper now that she's found all of the chocolate eggs...great.

Zombie Country

So I've finally got my hands dirty filming a project by myself, I know it's a cliche zombie short, but hey I'd like to see you coordinate and fund a shoot like this! This was defiantly a challenge on many levels. In the picture below you see a frame from the short in where I replaced Brandi's eye's with some nasty looking ones, I had to track them frame by frame. Thank you to everyone that helped!

Went down to the creek with Kennon to see what we could shoot, the weather is just getting better and better for shooting. I can't wait to continue on with some of the projects I have planned....

Turning point in my life...

Well today I officially took my first steps into becoming a professional videographer, filming a VW commercial for the York dealership to most likely air on TV. I'm excited but yet scared, I have a family to support so everything I do needs to have a precise impact on my progression in my career path. I'm very happy that the cards are playing out in my favor at this point in my life, but change like this is always very hard to cope with especially if others depend on you...

Shot some more pictures today at Mikes, took multiple exposures for a proper HDR image. I tried something new, only left the main paint job and forks in color and desaturated the rest. Hope you like it...
